Over 50 women have been called up to support Paul Biya’s candidacy for the 2025 presidential election in October 12.This movement took place at the Yaounde City Council.
On July 31, the Women’s Movement of Cameroon organized a gathering at the Yaounde City Council esplanade, presided over by the Marie-Thérèse Abena Ondoa, Minister of Women’s Empowerment and the Family. With the presence of the Vice President of the Vice President of the Network of Elected Women of Africa (REFELA) for the central Africa, some state officials and dignitaries, she affirmed that the women had not only come to support Paul Biya’s candidacy but also promote peace within their communities and households.
